LAのネオソウルバンド、MARIASのデビューLPが待望のリリース!

プエルトリコ出身のリードボーカル Maria Zardoya率いるネオソウル・バンド、 MARIAS。2017年に『Superclean, Vol. I EP』、2018年に『Superclean, Vol. II – EP』と2枚のEPをリリースし、高い評価を受けた彼女たちですが、待望のフルアルバム 『Cinema』の発売が決定しました!

このLPのタイトル通り、彼女たちの原点は Cinema にあるとのことで、元々は映画のために音楽を書き下ろしていました。アルバム制作の際も、まるで映画を作るようにストーリーや情景、照明や俳優、舞台美術、そしてもちろん音楽といった要素の全てをイメージしたアルバムになっています。サイケで浮遊感のある雰囲気が特徴的なリードシングル『Hush』は、まさにその象徴と言えるでしょう。
